GPA変換機 (학점 변환기)
韓国大学の評点スケール間でGPAを変換します。
Overview
Korean universities grade on three common scales — 4.5, 4.3 and 4.0 — and conversion between them is a linear ratio: the score divided by its source maximum, multiplied by the target maximum. A 4.0 on a 4.5 scale becomes 3.56 on a 4.0 scale, preserving relative position rather than the numeral.

About
The 4.5 scale, the most widely used in Korea, distinguishes A+ from A0 by awarding 4.5 and 4.0 respectively, whereas a 4.3 scale caps A+ at 4.3 and a 4.0 scale treats both as 4.0. A student with many A+ grades is therefore disadvantaged by a linear conversion to a 4.0 scale, which compresses the top of the distribution.
Foreign graduate admissions and multinational employers usually request a converted figure alongside the original transcript. Because no conversion is officially sanctioned, most institutions accept a stated scale and score rather than a recomputed number, and reporting both is standard practice.
